Hello!

My name is Rae (she/her), I'm currently studying art therapy at Concordia and completing a practicum at the Alzheimer Society of Montreal.

Before my grad program, I worked with Entraide Bénévole Métro providing in-home art sessions for older adults experiencing isolation and/or barriers to community activities. I was blown away by how much our clients appreciated the program and heard first hand why in-home services were so important to them, especially during our Montreal winters.

I started Home Studio because I loved this work so much and wanted to reach older adults in my area to address social isolation and help people connect or reconnect with art-making. I hope to be able to offer a sliding scale in the near future to increase the accessibility of the sessions.
